So excited to receive my signed copy of “Known“, by well-known author and social media key-note speaker Mark Schaefer, in the post all the way from the US.
Known (right?) to be the handbook for building and unleashing your personal brand in the digital age, I’m really looking forward to seeing what nuggets of wisdom Mark shares in this latest release. I thoroughly enjoyed “The Content Code” and expect this will be another valuable resource for marketers.
The parcel came with Wall Street Journal Bestseller “Strengths Finder 2.0” written by Tom Rath. This Gallup publication is based on the Don Clifton StrengthsFinder system, which has helped millions of people find their top five talents.
I have no prior knowledge of this system but love the idea of looking at people’s strengths and identifying actions to move forward, rather than focusing on perceived weaknesses. A great selection by my friend and inbound marketing specialist, Gareth Daine, who organised the gifts as prizes for contributing to his Facebook Live competition.
Together, these books form a great recipe for success and I greatly appreciate the personal note and signed comments from both Gareth and Mark that came with them.
Keep an eye out for future posts, where I will share my favourite parts from the books and ask for your thoughts on the topics of reputation and branding.
Both books and the companion workbook for Known can be purchased on Amazon.
